The hot dog. A symbol of America, mass production — of good times and chillin. Gas, or brake?

This question sets the stage for BIG HOT DOG, where my film photographs from the across the US and Europe, taken over the past four years of the 2020s, converge into graphic representation of the West today.

Where can true kicks be found? More choices — less choice?

Crazy capitalism, fascism/authoritarianism on the come up, tech takeover…

escapism? Hope?

The camera has been my tool of education about myself and the world in the past five years, and with BIG HOT DOG I bring together my experience of our decade so far into book form; my debut book. It’s my hope to present something to you of equal parts humor, catharsis, and reflection; a vision of our mad times that, at best, can create a discourse about where we find ourselves and where we’re headed - together.
